Food Nerd Approved Whiskey
We served up a refreshing cocktail to kick off summer! The folks at Triple Dog Irish Whiskey sent us some bottles to taste, and it did not disappoint! The bottle itself has a unique and fun look, too!
Triple Dog Irish Whiskey is an outrageously smooth, triple distilled whiskey, and we made the perfect summertime whiskey cocktail, with a bright and fresh citrus base. Plus, Triple Dog Irish Whiskey gave it some extra bite! This bottle can be found online for purchase and at retailers like Total Wine for around $39.99.
Here are the ingredients and recipe instructions to try this cocktail at home:
- 2 oz. Triple Dog Irish Whiskey
- 1 oz. fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1 oz. Yuzu juice
- 1/2 oz. sweetener of choice
- 1 egg white
- Combine ingredients in a shaker without ice.
- Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds.
- Add several ice cubes. Shake again for 10-15 seconds.
- Strain into a chilled glass with ice and enjoy!
