Giovanni’s has been a staple for Persian food in DFW for over 30 years. With signature entrees (like huge kabob plates) to lunch specials and musical entertainment (Fridays and Saturdays with a belly dancer and Persian pop music), Giovanni’s has no shortage of amazing food and fun!

Being an Iranian-American myself, I take Persian food very seriously. Giovanni’s hits the spot with its authenticity and innovative dishes in a consistent manner.

Check out our menu recommendations!

This show stopper here is the Feast Plate with five skewers of kabobs including chicken, spicy chicken, ground sirloin and lamb. Served with white saffron basmati rice and grilled veggies and feeds 4-5 hungry people. Don’t forget to top the kabob with sumac seasoning!
This appetizer is a common one at any Persian restaurant. Order one for the whole table. Enjoy fresh herbs, pita bread, Feta cheese and a few other nibbles.
The Falafel here is my favorite appetizer! This appetizer comes with five pieces of deliciously deep fried grounded chickpeas.
Another popular and shareable appetizer is the roasted eggplant dip with pita bread.
The Mirza Ghasemi is a another blended eggplant, but mixed with tomatoes, garlic and scrambled eggs.
This Persian Cucumber / Tomato salad is a refreshing appetizer or side that goes well with any dish.
Hand rolled, homemade grape leaves comes in a set of five. Share with the table, or just keep them all for yourself!
Enjoy dipping your pita bread in this slightly cool yogurt & chopped cucumber mix topped with mint.
Feeling the mint vibes so far? Order a bottle of the ever-popular Doogh, also known as a fizzy yogurt drink blended with mint.
After your meal, relax with hot Persian black tea and drop in a sugar cube for sweetness.
The Baklava was phenomenal! Don’t miss out on a bite for dessert at Giovanni’s.

Private Events and Catering

The space also lends itself to private parties, wedding receptions and more for about 100 guests (including the dance floor) or 150 guests without the dance floor space. They’ll even book the live entrainment for you if you’d like! Giovanni’s also offers catering services of its highly-sought out menu across DFW.

Location

Giovanni’s is located at 18484 Preston Road in North Dallas.

Women, Life, Freedom

As my family and I enjoyed our meal, we remembered those currently in Iran fighting for their freedom from the government every day. zan.zendegi.azadi.
