When’s the last time you drove around Dallas with the intention of waiting in the drive – thru? If that doesn’t sound like you, then I would suggest going outside of the box by pulling up to the first Wendy’s you see! At first I was a bit skeptical myself, but after learning about the plump blueberries, strawberries, California almonds, grilled white meat, and shaved Asiago cheese all on 11 types of field greens, I was determined to have a taste of this new meal, the Berry Almond Chicken Salad. Does this sound like a salad featured on a Bistro menu? Maybe I should’ve mentioned that it is dressed with fat free raspberry vinaigrette, which includes balsamic vinegar and acai juice.
Back for a limited time only, the Berry Almond Chicken Salad prides itself on quality ingredients that are made to order. Wendy’s is a premium fast-food restaurant known for very exceptional salads; naturally, I was thrilled to try this summer sensation! The chain’s most popular seasonal favorite flavors tastes as if you were eating from a local café, due to the fine attention to detail with the upmost dedication to freshness. By the time you add quick-service prices for both sizes of the salad, plus friendly customer service, I forgot I was eating fast food!
Wendy’s has also recently added social media to their menu, with more than 200K followers on Twitter and 3.6 million “likes†on Facebook. They really understand the concept of communication by connecting with their networks and beyond. Featuring monthly promotions, charity contributions, and waffle cones for their famous Frosty, Wendy’s will stay on my radar…and taste buds.
