One of my favorite sandwich shops, East Hampton, is known for its sandwiches with a twist. The counter-service restaurant offers a variety of hot and cold sandwiches, many with in-house and seasonal ingredients. The restaurant, which is based in Dallas and has several locations across North Texas, has added a few seasonal items to its menu for the summer.

This menu is only available until the fall, so get to it!

Sandwiches

Sidewalk Patty Melt: classic thin patties, Seagrams white American cheese, Neuske’s bacon, arugula, pickles, house 1000 isle sauce. If you’re all about a meaty sandwich, order this one! It takes your average Patty Melt to a whole new level, and isn’t greasy like the versions from fast-food chains. Tip: Pair the melt with the new seasonal fruit cup (pineapple and mint) – you will be surprised at the perfect balance of the two flavors!

Prosciutto De Parma: warm prosciutto, hillside goat cheese, shaved green apple, dressed arugula, candied fig jam, balsamic glaze. This sandwich is packed with seasonal tastes. The goat cheese pairs well with the sweetness of the apple, jam and balsamic. The meat/prosciutto, along with the rest of the ingredients, make for a satisfying sandwich.

Polo Club Pesto: herb-roasted chicken, sun-dried tomato spread (owners inspired by EatZi’s sundried tomato spread – so they made their own version), mozzarella, shaved purple onion, fresh pesto, italian seasoning, basil aioli

Lobster Grilled Cheese: 1/4 lb of Atlantic lobster knuckles + claws, shaved havarti & American cheese, sriracha dijionaise. While this item was on the original menu and went away, it’s back AND with double the amount of lobster! This sandwich gets two thumbs up for its creamy and tasty flavor (FYI, there’s a kick to it) and of course, all the lobster meat!

There’s a sandwich for everyone who comes to East Hampton! So if you’re in the mood for a veggie sandwich, you’re in luck. Choose from two items including:

And, the Lemon Caprese: thick Roma tomato, mozzarella, fresh basil, arugula, balsamic glaze drizzle, house lemon mayo) — pictured above. Tip: Add a cup of the new seasonal potato salad.

Goat Cheese + Avo: hillside goat cheese, roasted carrots, avocado, greens, onion, Roma tomato, red pepper aioli) — not pictured

Sides

What’s a meal without sides?? Check out these all new seasonal sides at East Hampton:

Summer Slaw

Arugula Salad

Seasonal Fruit – pineapple with fresh mint

Potato Salad

Soups

This chowda with yummy chunks of shrimp was calling my name! Combined with roasted corn and bits of bacon, this soup is sure to impress seafood fans.

Roasted Corn + Shrimp: roasted and spiced corn, Neuske’s bacon, shrimp, cracked pepper, herbs

Dessert

Finish your meal with a sweet ending – donuts!

Charlie’s Donuts:  These donuts are back on the menu but are a little different this time… in a good way. The donuts are filled with a sauce (made in-house), and you can select from chocolate, strawberry or blueberry filling, sprinkled with powered sugar.

There you have it! East Hampton has several locations across North Texas in Dallas and in North Dallas. Click here to find one near you.
