Smuckers UncrustablesFor my first post on the Dallas Food Nerd blog I felt it only fitting to start with something my kids having been raving about. A week ago my wife picked up a box of Smuckers Uncrustables at the grocery store. I wasn’t aware we even had them in the house but my kids kept talking about how good they were. Personally, I couldn’t believe anything prepared as a sandwich and frozen could be that good. I try to avoid anything heavily processed before I eat it. I prefer mine from Farm to Fork if you know what I mean.

My kids kept urging me to try them out so I thought, why not record it on my iPhone and share with the rest of the inquiring minds who want to know. So here you have it. Click on the link below.

Let me know your experience with Smuckers Uncrustables.

  1. Pretty good post, Mike! I totally agree with you — this concept goes against my normal food morals of staying away from processed foods as much as possible. But, those little frozen sandwiches are so good.

  2. Great post! My kids have been eating these for years & I think the reason they are so good is because it’s made by Smuckers (who’s peanut butter & jelly apart are delicious.) Note to parents of young kids, this can get messy. 😉
