If you are ever in Arlington and want a casual dining atmosphere with a well prepared menu, head over to R Bar & Grill at the Hilton.
Their margaritas are delicious! I’m not normally a fan of frozen margaritas, but the flavor in this one was great! Not to mention its a beautiful drink with the purple sugar rim.
Artesian Tomato Bruschetta
Between the fresh mozzarella, heirloom tomatoes, and balsamic vinaigrette this was one of my favorite things at the Arlington restaurant.
Fried Calamari
I loved that it was served with banana peppers and lemon. It added the tang it needed, plus the marinara sauce was perfect.
Hanger Steak Sandwich
This sandwich was good, it had a ton of flavor. The great was toasted and the cheese was just gooey enough. I like that they added peppers for added flavor. My only complaint would be that the steak wasn’t as tender as I’d like for it to be. I found myself chewing a little more than I wanted. Besides that, it was a good sandwich.
Lobster Crepes
These were OUTSTANDING! While this dish will set you back $30, I could argue that it is well worth it. The thought of lobster in a crepe was very new to me, so I had to try it. There are nice sized pieces of lobster as well as mushrooms and onions wrapped up in the tender crepe. Then it’s served on what tasted like a lobster bisque. I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Cookie Dough Cheesecake Tower
This dessert was rich, creamy, sweet, fresh, and crunchy all at the same time. It was the perfect end to my heavy meal and I found myself craving it a week later!
The next time you’re in Arlington and looking for food after the game, or a trip to Six Flags, head over to R Bar & Grill and dig into their tasty menu.
