The Omni PGA Frisco opens to the public on Tuesday, May 2 and brings a new collection of retail outlets, 13 dining destinations and tons of golf to DFW. The area boasts 660 acres to offer everyone some fun – whether you golf or not!
Throughout May, the Monument Realty PGA District, “The Front Door to Fun” and the Omni PGA Frisco Resort are inviting North Texans to explore and celebrate with fun festivities each week.

May 2 – Opening Day: Omni PGA Frisco Resort and Monument Realty PGA District open at 4 p.m. – PGA Frisco restaurants, retail, “The Dance Floor” (lighted, 2-acre putting course) and “The Swing” (lighted, 10-acre short course) make their debut

Guests can celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a live performance from Los Mariachi Locos. Dinner can be purchased at one of the Monument Realty PGA District restaurants, at the pop-up taco bar, or from one of the local-favorite food trucks. A folkloric mercado features gifts, apparel and other traditional items. End the night with a movie on the 920-square-foot outdoor videowall. Blankets are welcome, lawn chairs and coolers are not permitted on the grounds.

Even if you can’t celebrate at Churchill Downs, derby day fans will be at the Monument Realty PGA District for the area’s largest Kentucky Derby watch party. The derby and its festivities will be streamed on the The Dance Floor Event Lawn with its enormous videowall. Guests can purchase mint juleps, play games and even grab a fabulous photo in front of the wall of roses. And everyone is encouraged to wear their Derby finest, including fabulous hats. Hat contest winners will be announced at approximately 6:30 p.m., and guests must be present to win special opening weekend prizes.

The spectacular views of the new Fields Ranch golf course make the perfect backdrop for a Mother’s Day brunch. The Ryder Cup Grille will serve Mother’s Day brunch al fresco on the patio or inside the clubhouse, with a special a la carte brunch menu. All moms will receive a complimentary “mom”osa before brunch! Additionally, the Fields Ranch Clubhouse will host a Kendra Scott pop-up shop in the main lobby. Frisco ISD completes their school year on Friday, May 19, and the Monument Realty PGA District is celebrating with a party for the whole family. Kids ages 17 & younger can play The Dance Floor, a lighted two-acre putting course, one of the largest natural-grass putting courses in the U.S., with complimentary putter rentals from 5-10 p.m. Putter rentals are first come, first served.
Nearby, Margaret’s Cones & Cups will offer $2 vanilla cones during the event.
The movie feature, “The Greatest Game Ever Played” will begin at 8 p.m. on the video wall. Guests are welcome to lay blankets down under the stars. Concessions will be available.
