La Comida is one of Addison’s newest places for Mexican food. Located off Dallas North Tollway and Belt Line, the family-owned restaurant serves up authentic Mexican food and speciality drinks. Learn more about the restaurant in our earlier writeup.

The Dallas Food Nerd crew stopped by La Comida to sample the new cocktails before they were released to the public. These fun, new drinks, called the Double MMs, are a combination of frozen margaritas and martinis. They currently come in five flavors: Apple, Strawberry, Blue Curacao, Flamingo, and Pica Pica. It’s a flavorful drink to sip on this summer. (Did we mention La Comida has an excellent patio?)

The Flamingo margarita is another notable cocktail at La Comida. On Tuesdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., all house margaritas are only $3!
