Wingstop has done it again. The Wing Experts, known for bringing the flavor, are ready to unveil their latest culinary masterpiece. Combining smooth, fiery chilies with a refreshing burst of tangy lime, it’s time say hello to Chili Lime wings.
The new, limited-time sauce is now available at all Dallas area locations, and we got a chance to sample some over the weekend. Chili lime brings a balance of heat and citrus that I found addicting. As a wing traditionalist, I usually find comfort in the buffalo spice of hot wings sauce, and rarely stray from that flavor profile. Now that I’ve tasted the chili lime I find it to be a refreshing and flavorful option for wing fanatics.
It certainly helps that Wingstop makes all their wings fresh, when you order them. No heat lamps, no microwaves, no holding bins. You can taste the freshness in these wings and that might be what really sets them apart.
