Restaurant openings in Dallas this fall are abundant. If you try, you probably can attend the opening night of a new restaurant each night until after the New Year. Â We’ll here’s a new one you can add to the list now for December but eat at this week.
From the press release distributed today:
Brian Williams and Michael Martensen, co-owners of The Cedars Social, announce their new restaurant/bar endeavor, The Establishment. Located at 4513 Travis Street in the Knox/Henderson area, The Establishment will be a bar-centric take on the classic oyster bar.Â
In addition to the drinks, the food on the menu promises to feature the highest quality ingredients from local purveyors, offering an ever-changing selection of small plates, house-made charcuterie (click here if you need some enlightenment on that Webster “word-of-the-day”), as well as a 9’ oyster bar with daily selections of more than 15 different types of East and West Coast oysters.
The Establishment is not slated to open its doors until early December, the duo couldn’t wait to introduce their new concept to Dallas. So to celebrate they are hosting Oyster Fest this Sunday, October 28  from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. Since The Establishment isn’t ready for guests, the party is happening in tents at the parking lot next to the soon-to-open restaurant/bar.
$1 oysters, $5 Palm Beer, $5 Aylesbury Duck Vodka Oyster Shooters and $10 Etoile Sparkling Wine will be served, with JT Donaldson scheduled to DJ the event.
