Foodies, health-conscious eaters, athletes, and moms alike will rejoice this fall with the recently opened Pure deLite cupcakery in the Dallas suburb of Carrollton, Texas. Celebrated for its unique, healthy and delicious recipes, Pure deLite prides itself on being the only guilt-free cupcakery in North Texas. The bakery specializes in gluten-free, vegan, reduced fat and reduced sugar cupcakes that do not sacrifice taste, only calories. To celebrate the third store’s new community, on Saturday, Nov. 10, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. CT, Pure deLite will giveaway t-shirts, cupcakes and more, during its official grand opening.
“We’re thrilled to bring our healthy recipes and delectable treats to the Lone Star State,†said Rachel Hough, owner of Pure deLite. “With two stores already up and running in Ohio, I knew Carrollton would be the perfect place for my third location because of North Texans’ active lifestyles. Our Saturday event will be a good way to meet the community and let them know about our delicious creations.â€
To kick-off the holiday season, Pure deLite will also offer one complimentary “guilt-free†cupcake to the first 50 people in the store on Saturday, Nov. 10, only. The Pure deLite cupcake creators will also giveaway one t-shirt or pair of sweat pants every hour on the hour from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. for those individuals who are on-site.
“There’s no reason why people can’t satisfy their sweet tooth and not sacrifice their health or waistlines,†added Hough. “These cupcakes are as delicious, but with half the calories and fat, as most cupcakes you’d bake at home or find at the store or bakery.â€
Pure deLite cupcakes have half the calories, fat and sugar of a traditional cupcake and are baked using pure, natural and organic ingredients. Pure deLite’s unique selection of more than 140 flavors includes breakfast favorites like Caramel Latte or French Toast, classics like Chocolate Lava and Vanilla DeLite, and for the 21 and up club, Strawberry Daiquiri, Appletini and White Chocolate Raspberry Martini, to name a few.
Cupcakes aren’t the only items offered at Pure deLite; icing shots, individual pies, cakes, cookies, French macaroons, cake balls, cake pops, biscotti and a variety of coffee flavors are also available.
Hough developed the unique recipe more than two years ago after her son was born. The cupcake queen wanted to bake a tasty treat for her family that was both healthy and delicious. The guilt-free cupcake was born in 2010 with the first store opening in Fairlawn, Ohio.
