Abuelo’s 25th Anniversary Party, July 1

The East Plano location of Abuelo’s Mexican Restaurant is hosting an anniversary party on July 1 and invites you to attend. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Guests will enjoy giveaways and family-fun activities. Enchiladas will be prices 25 cents with a purchase of an entree. Guests who dine in any of the restaurants on July 1 will also receive a $5 coupon, redeemable on a return visit.

Additionally, enjoy the Silver Anniversary Three-Course Deal Menu. The celebratory, three-course menu starts with fresh guacamole, then guests may choose from three classic entrées including the Laredo, Sautéed Chicken Zucchini and Ribeye Steak and Enchiladas and finishes with its award-winning flan. Patrons may also enjoy the limited time Silver Celebration Margaritawith Cuervo Silver Tequila, St. Germain Liqueur and lime juice.

Abuelo’s will donate $1 to the nonprofit No Kid Hungry campaign for every Tapas or Small Bites plate sold.

Meso Mayo’s Sizzling Summer Dishes, Ends July 10

From now until July 10, stop by Meso Mayo to try out two delicious dishes. The Ensalada de Verano  is packed with fresh ingredients, including adobo grilled chicken breast, organic purslane, green tomatoes, relish, watermelon, goat cheese, avocado, romaine hearts, and tossed with passion fruit vinaigrette.

Added to the dinner menu is Black Sea Bass. The skin-on fish is served with queso panela, avocado tomatillo sauce, tangy watermelon and a side of fideo seco topped with quail egg.

Grill on the Alley Celebrates Surf & Turf through July 17

Summer is the perfect time to enjoy a classic surf & turf, and The Grill on the Alley at Galleria Dallas will offer a special Surf & Turf dinner available only on weeknights (Monday – Thursday) through Thursday, July 17.

Hopdoddy Introduces New Burger and Bourbon

Sink your teeth into the new Fried Green Tomato Burger at Hopdoddy Burger Bar. The dish features a classic pairing of cornmeal-fried green tomatoes with avocado, apple wood-smoked bacon, caramelized onions and roasted tomato remoulade. It is served with an Angus beef patty on a toasted egg bun. This plate is only available through July 13 and goes for $12.
