The town of Addison hosts many incredible events every year. Each has its own draw and unique flare, but it’s hard to beat the annual Addison Oktoberfest for my favorite. Great beer, delicious food, and the crowning achievement of being known as the most authentic Oktoberfest celebration outside of Munich make this a serious party. We are a week out from this year’s Addison Oktoberfest, September 18th-21st, and I am stoked to partake in the celebration.
This year, Addison Oktoberfest is partnering with Chamberlain’s Steak and Chop House and Chamberlain’s Fish Market Grill to bring something new to the festivities and I was lucky enough to be invited for an early tasting to get an idea of what can be expected when Chamberlains Brau Haus comes to the event.
First of all, the Chamberlain’s Brau Haus is unique in that it brings a “full-service†restaurant experience to the festival atmosphere, which is usually known for quick bites rather than a well prepared menu. That menu provides a 3-course tasting of some very unique flavors, smartly paired with Paulaner beers. Paulaner is bringing its A-game with 3 different beers to match the Chamberlain’s offerings, including their Premium Lager, Paulaner Hefe-Weizen, and the signature brew for this event, the Paulaner Oktoberfest Marzen. With 1600 kegs serving 160,000 glasses of beer, there will be plenty to go around for the 70,000 people expected to attend this year. I had a taste of everything on the menu (and maybe more than just a taste of the beers), and there wasn’t a single thing that didn’t make my mouth water.

You can see that no shortage of deliciousness will be found this year at Addison Oktoberfest, and as always, Chamberlain’s is expected to deliver an incredible meal.
There are several different ways to attend Oktoberfest this year, but I highly suggest going for the $49 Chamberlain’s Brau Haus option. It practically pays for itself with a 3-course meal, general admission included, a commemorative beer stein, and a $25 gift card to the Chamberlain’s restaurant of your choice.
