3 Stacks Smoke & Tap House To Undergo RenovationBeginning on January 13, 3 Stacks Smoke & Tap House will be temporarily closing their doors for a 10-day renovation and then re-open as a full-service restaurant.  The restaurant initially opened in February 2013 as a hybrid between self-service and sit-down dining. The initial concept was that diners would come through the line to order and once seated, a server would provide you with a beverage from the bar or bring you add-ons like dessert.   Seems Frisco and our loyal customer base is accustomed to a full-service experience and after listening to months of customers feedback, the owners have decided to give the people what they want “ a full-service experience from start to finish.

The cafeteria-line portion of the restaurant will be removed to make way for additional booths and tables and a new merchandising area will be built behind the hostess stand to provide customers with the opportunity to purchase rubs and sauces created from Trace The Rib Whisperer Arnold himself. Once the renovation is complete, 3 Stacks will host a couple of days of mock service to make sure the staff is fully in sync with the new layout before opening to the public.  If all goes according to plan, the restaurant should be reopened to the general public on January 27.

“We’ve been overwhelmed by the positive response to our BBQ but there has always been some questions about the serving concept.” says Trace (The Rib Whisperer) Arnold, “Jason and I operate under ‘the customer’s always right’ philosophy, so we’re pleased to be able to add to the experience here at 3 Stacks and give the people what they want.”

Owners Trace Arnold and Jason Hall urge fans to stay tuned in to the restaurants social channels for details on the re-launch and your opportunity to attend the Friends and Family event and be the first to see the new look.
