Here comes another awesome buffet deal! Ever since I found out Naga Thai‘s 10 bucks all-you-can-eat lunch (by American Airline Center) in Victory Park from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm mon-fri, I was determined to chow down on them. According to the manager, Sam, Naga Thai changes the buffet menu everyday to keep its customers surprised! If you are someone like me who is looking to eat a specific plate like pad thai, my suggestion is to call them and find out the menu of the day before lunch break. The menu of the day I visited featured ginger tilapia, basil catfish, beef cucumber, tom yum soup, sriracha chicken, yellow curry with chicken, veggie delight,  shrimp, egg roll, and crab rangoon. A good variety of thai!

I started off with salad with my fav Thai peanut/sesame dressing, which was very fresh and appetizing.

After salad, I had 4 of this! I always like tom yum soup because its lemongrass smell is so refreshing. Also, it’s a perfect blend of sour and spicy. However, the tom yum soup they have for  buffet does not have many ingredients like shrimp in it as it normally does.

For the 1st plate, I got some egg rolls, catfish, crab rangoons, and lots of shrimp. Shrimps were big and flavorful that I went back for just another plate full of shrimps. That’s how much I love seafood. Crab rangoon and egg rolls were crispy.

Other food is somewhat mediocre. One of those things that you ate and don’t remember what they taste like, BUT they were good. (on that kind of level if you know what I mean) If not, you have a great reason to pig out at Naga Thai for its $10 lunch buffet now. : )

They have both white  and brown rice available. Their yellow curry containing coconut milk and lemongrass is so authentic; it goes so well with rice. Needless to say, I killed 2 plates of just the yellow curry over rice. It just goes down so easily!

Papaya was not the freshest papaya I’ve had, but the watermelon was fine. I think the fruit has room to be treated better.

If I were to choose 3 things I would order off full-price menu, they would be yellow curry, tom yum soup, and stir-fried shrimp and mushroom. $10 all you can eat lunch, you must go eat it for yourself before thinking it’s too good to be true. Now go pig out at Naga Thai!
