3-Course Menu in Dallas! 💃🕺 Getting friend time on 3-Course Menu in Dallas! 💃🕺
Getting friend time on the calendar can be a challenge, but it’s a must for lowering our cortisol levels.

We went to @apothecary_bar for a little food therapy, catch-up time, and their 3-course prix fixe menu. You pick one dish per course, and since we tried almost everything, we can confirm: they’re all tasty!

Course 1: Japanese Elotes, Caesar Salad, Summer Vegetables

Course 2: Cacio e Pepe (lots of pepper!), Mediterranean Salmon (cooked to perfection over spicy orzo), Seared Scallops
(Other options: Sun-Dried Tomato Chicken, Apo Burger, Wagyu Steak Frites)

Course 3: Strawberry Basil Cheesecake (slightly tart, so good), Sauerkraut Cake, S’mores (tableside fire makes it extra fun)

Sync calendars with friends and get a resy soon because this prix fixe menu won’t last much longer. 💃🕺

Cicis Pizza still hits home!🍕 *ad Yes, @cicisoffi Cicis Pizza still hits home!🍕

*ad Yes, @cicisofficial is still a regular part of the lunch rotation and no that’s not a joke.

Between the convenience of the buffet and the classic pizza toppings, Cicis still has the same zest from when we were kids. And that’s coming from a foodie who tries artisan pies from all over Dallas.

I personally come for a quick, affordable and fresh lunch.

For just $9.99 for adults & $5.99 for kids, you can comfortably bring your whole family to their AYCE buffet of pizza & fresh salad bar. Recently they’ve added pasta & new dessert options to round out the whole meal.

🤓Nerdy Fact: DYK over 40 years ago, Cicis was the first pizza joint to offer a buffet and the other restaurants followed their lead? Let this be your sign to make a return visit!

For all the golfers (and all of us trying to golf🤭 For all the golfers (and all of us trying to golf🤭), here’s a Frisco restaurant where you can hit some golf balls…without losing them. 😜 ⛳️

@thelocalopen is a full‑service restaurant with golf simulators that make a really fun night out. Everyone’s welcome! The pros, the newbies, and everyone in between.

Reserve a private bay for 4 or 6, each with a simulator loaded with a whole library of courses and games. You pay by the hour, so stay and play.

One of our favorite part? Ordering food & drinks straight from our phones and having everything delivered right to us, just like cart service on the course. For an activity bar, the food is shockingly elevated and way better than you’d expect.

We enjoyed:
Pepperoni Pizza
Akaushi Beef Sliders
Smoked Blue Cheese Potato Chips

Next time, we want to come for brunch!

Nerdy Tip: Stop in when it’s raining, snowing, or too hot so your golf game doesn’t get rusty!

Hours: Open for dinner on Mondays and Tuesdays and all day the remaining days.

Found a new pick-up or delivery option for those d Found a new pick-up or delivery option for those days when making dinner just ain’t happening! @eatbowlsofrice 🍚

Bowls of Rice serves Asian-inspired rice bowls with huge portions made fresh for pick-up or delivery. They operate out of a cloud kitchen so we ordered ahead & picked up from a locker. It was so easy & quick, so perfect for a weeknight meal when you’re having a crazy week!

Trust us when we say the portion size is huge—we easily had leftovers for several meals. Our favorite kind of takeout!

We loved every bowl we tried but our favorites were the Grilled Steak Bowl and the Garlic Sesame Fusion Bowl. Pro tip: upgrade to the garlic butter fried rice! Trust us, it’s worth it!

PS This is a great late night option. 🌙 All 3 DFW locations take orders until 11 pm!

Lobster is served. 🦞 We caught an early screenin Lobster is served. 🦞

We caught an early screening of TONY, and we’re still thinking about it. Dominic Sessa plays a young Anthony Bourdain alongside Emilia Jones, Leo Woodall, and the legend himself, Antonio Banderas! And don’t worry: you don’t have to be a lifelong fan to enjoy the film!

If you’ve been following along, @a24 always brings the drama. While this biopic doesn’t go over-the-top crazy, it delivers pure creativity and unexpected turns in the storytelling. Set in a New England summer, it does a great job capturing 1970s life along the Rhode Island shore.

It’s a lot of fun to watch and well worth seeing on the big screen. It’s already getting great reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, and we completely agree (& not just because we’re huge A24 fans 🤭).

Start the countdown: TONY hits theaters August 21st! Cinemark, Alamo Drafthouse, AMC, Studio Movie Grill... we’ve got plenty of options in DFW 🎟️.

Nerdy Tip: Grab seafood beforehand to make a whole night of it. The lobster bib is optional, but highly recommended for funsies. 😂 @oceanprimedallas @trulucksrestaurant @flyingfishrestaurant @therevelpatiogrill @even_coast @tjsseafood @boilingcrab @shellshack_texas

For just $30, you get a 5 oz steak, Caesar salad, tallow fries, and your pick of a Lemon Drop Martini or Margarita. Everything’s bigger in TX…but not this deal!

Because we love everything at Haywire, we also ordered the Chef’s “Favorite 4” starter (elk tacos, fried green tomatoes, onion rings, & queso blanco). Plus a Chipotle Chocolate Cake, because we’re still girls, after all. 🤭

They also have dim sum items like shumai & BBQ pork buns! Plus a cute little robot brings out your food, which is so fun. 🤖
