Addison’s 60th Anniversary Picnic
Addison celebrates the end of its 60th anniversary on June 14, 4 to 8 p.m. with a family friendly picnic complete with hot dogs and snowcones, live music from Prophets and Outlaws, and fun games like a giant Jenga, Connect Four and the Addison Dot Pit. Summer Happy Hour at Little Red Wasp Kitchen + Bar

National Jerky Day, June 12
Rahr & Sons Brewing Co. has partnered up with Krave Jerky, a line of gourmet all-natural artisan jerky with flavors such as Basil Citrus, Black Cherry, and Lemon Garlic to create custom beer pairings in celebration of National Jerky Day on June 12! Krave Jerky ranges from $4.99-5.99 and is available at the brewery, online or at retailers such as Whole Foods and Target.
An example of one of the pairings includes a Summertime Wheat beer (a lightly hopped, German-style Hefeweizen that has unique banana and clove-like characteristics) with the Garlic Chili Pepper Beef (tender slices of top round sirloin domestic beef, soaked in a robust garlic and chili marinade, and finished with real chili flakes).

Table 13 Continues Monthly Music Lineup
Table 13, Addison’s newest fine dining establishment, continues its lineup of live music this month. From soothing piano songs to jazz music, the live entertainment adds a nice touch for an evening at Table 13. This 1960’s Vegas-themed restaurant offers vintage food and drinks and provides a unique experience for guests. See our post here for a preview of the restaurant and its menu items before you head over. We think you’ll enjoy the place as much as we did!
Warwick Melrose Offers 90-cent Sparking Wines
Dallas’ Warwick Melrose Hotel turns 90 this year and wants to celebrate by offering guests their first glass of sparking wine for only 90 cents. You can catch this fun deal at the The Landmark Restaurant or The Library, both located inside the hotel (3015 Oak Lawn Ave). Pair the bubbly with the restaurant’s new tasty dinner items, such as the Foie Gras PB&J and Pork Belly Mac & Cheese.
Jamba Juice Launches New Drinks
Jamba Juice recently launched a new line of juices just in time for those hot summer days in Texas! LYFE Kitchen to Open Three Dallas Locations
A new healthy and affordable dining option is coming to Dallas this summer. LYFE stands for Love “ Your “ Food “ Everyday, and the restaurant is introducing the “lifestyle” category of dining to us.
“The LYFE Kitchen mission is to ensure you Love Your Food Everyday, so we are constantly challenging ourselves to create recipes that get people excited about eating well,” said Art Smith, Executive Chef of LYFE Kitchen. “I would describe our menu as ‘guilt free indulgence’ because everything on it is as delicious, familiar and fun as it is good for you.”
The locations include Plano (June 13), Preston Center (June 27) and West Village (July 25). We’re excited to check out the new stores this month! Stay tuned for a review.
