It’s not often that I can say that my mom has been to a restaurant before I have. But, with Addison’s new Table 13 she managed to go hear some music over the weekend for a small gathering they had before their big launch event.

A new era in fine dining, music and cocktails is about to emerge on the Addison restaurant scene.

Table 13 is a unique dining and entertainment experience offering chef-prepared steaks, seafood, and specialty dishes. Guests will enjoy vintage-inspired food, beverage and service in a distinctive, upscale atmosphere “ with a few unexpected surprises.

Table 13 is located at Belt Line and Inwood Road in the restaurant/bar mecca of Addison. Renovations are nearly complete and plans for pre- and grand opening events are being finalized “ including a three-day ˜Fly Me to the Moon Launch Event targeted for May 8-10.

This unique concept is the result of many late night brainstorming sessions and a lot of careful planning, said restaurateur Mike McRae, whose vision for Table 13 grabbed the attention of Gabe Nicolella, longtime business partner. Together, McRae and Nicolella have more than 70 years combined experienced in the industry, successfully operating upscale establishments like Daddys Money, elan, Nostomo, Rio Room and Studebakers.

Table 13 will cater to a sophisticated crowd with discriminating taste in food and music, said McRae. Its a period restaurant unlike anything else in the Dallas area. Its more of an experience, really.

The fine dining/music venue will showcase classic, showroom style entertainment reminiscent of 1960s Vegas, with performances by the Marc Toussiant, Hunter Sullivan,  Ricki Derek, Rodney Booth and Teddy Davey. There will be British Invasion Nights, and solo performances by Goga, Scott Bucklin, Melani Skybell and Steve Stroud. The Baby Grand piano will set the stage for an elegant yet casually comfortable dining experience – perfect for corporate meetings, group gatherings or intimate conversations. Table 13 promises impeccable service served up alongside delicious appetizers and entrees for lunchtime, dinner and late night crowds.
