Here ye, here ye! Scarborough Renaissance Festival’s 42nd season is open through Memorial Day weekend! The fairgrounds are located in Waxahachie, just about 30 minutes outside of downtown Dallas.

The festival celebrates one of our favorite times in history, and it’s always a fun excuse to dress up in costume, eat interesting food, and play whacky games.

Plus, we love a THEME! Upcoming themed weekends include:

May 6-7: Celtic Weekend

May 13-14: Chivalry Weekend and Mother’s Day

May 20-21: Legend of the Seas Weekend

May 27-29: The last huzzah!

Tickets

Single day tickets for guests 13 and older: $37

Kids (ages 5-12): $17

Kids 4 & under are free!

Single day discount tickets will also be available at North Texas Tom Thumb & Albertsons.

Check out the festival website for information on season passes, weekend passes and more.

Food for for a king or queen!

Feast on food at five food court areas located throughout the Festival along with numerous roving specialty food carts. For a full service experience, check out the Rose & Crown Inn, located in the Crown Meadows section of the Festival.

Festival favorites include giant roasted turkey legs, Scottish eggs, hand-made pastas, crab cakes, quiches, Shepherd’s Pie, fresh fruit, salads, fresh pastries and the largest Food-On-A-Stick selection in Texas.

Our visit was hosted by SR Fair, and all opinions are our own.
