The folks at Bowl and Barrel, a boutique bowling alley and modern American tavern, invited us in for a night of bowling and a menu tasting of the new entrees and drinks. The company recently released a handful of sharable entrees and added two tasty handcrafted cocktails to the menu. Not only do we love Bowl and Barrel for fun environment, games and entertainment, we also enjoy their gourmet food and various drinks. This isn’t your traditional bowling alley. The quality of food here is exceptional and unique – no cheap, greasy food here!
Here’s a preview of the new menu items:
Wagyu Steak & Blue Cheese Sandwich “ Baguette, blue cheese mayo, watercress and ale glazed shallots, served with choice of fries or quinoa salad.
Chicken Apple Club Sandwich “ On sourdough bread with mayo, lettuce, tomato, avocado, green apples and bacon. Served with choice of fries or quinoa salad.
Jumbo Crab Cakes
Green Chili Grilled Cheese
Chicken Salad “ Green cabbage, kale, ghost pepper peanuts, fruit chutney, jicama, green apple and curry vinaigrette.
Fish & Chips “ Complete with bicky sauce and malt vinegar.
Velvet Mule “Titos Vodka, Velvet Falernum, ginger beer and lime juice.
French Kiss “ Prosecco, St. Germain, lemon juice and house-made Grenadine.

Definitely the gooey Green Chili Grilled Cheese, if it’s not too spicy!
I lived in Maryland before Dallas and ate crab cakes then as often as I eat tacos now. Can’t want to try the crab cakes here!

Crab cake with brussel sprouts! Sign me up! My favorites! Love Bowl and Barrel but never have gotten anything besides their amazing meat and cheese trays!
