Have you been smoked? And by smoked, I mean have you visited SMOKE, the southern-style BBQ restaurant by Chef Tim Byres? Nominated by Food & Wine’s The People’s Best New Chef, among many other accolades, Chef Tim is creating quite the smoke scene at his restaurant located off Fort Worth Avenue next door to The Belmont Hotel.
In celebration of his Food & Wine nomination, the restaurant opened its doors Monday night for free food and drinks. I couldn’t miss out on this opportunity to try a new place and I’m glad I went. The menu for the night included smoked brisket, pork ribs, chicken wings, potato salad and so much more! Even though I only got a sample of the amazing menu at SMOKE, it was definitely worth it because I want to go back!
No excuses not to go… Enjoy a taste of SMOKE for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner! And vote for Chef Tim here till March 1.
