The inaugral Low & Slow North Texas BBQ & Music Festival brought more than 500 guests to the historic Longhorn Ballroom for delicious barbecue, mingling with brewmasters and live music by local bands.

Barbecue vendors from across Dallas-Fort Worth provided barbecue fanatics with endless amounts of savory food. Vendors include 407 BBQ, Bone Daddy’s, Cousin’s, Lakewood Smokehouse, One 90 Smoked Meats, Panther City BBQ, Smoky Rose, Winner’s BBQ, and a dozen others.

Local bands played blues and rock music into the night. The star-studded lineup included the likes of Bryce Bangs, Simon Flory Trio, Zane Williams, Bri Bagwell, The King Bucks, and more. Co-owner Ryan Childers of locally-owned RVC Promotions was elated to share all of these tastes and talents with the Dallas masses this August.

Guests also enjoyed local beers from some of DFW’s favorite breweries. The eight local brewers included 3 Nations, 903 Brewing, Bitter Sisters, Hop Fusion Ale Works, Noble Rey, Rabbit Hole Brewing, Texas Ale Project and WoodCreek Brewing.
