After a five-year hiatus, Central Market will resume their popular culinary event featuring the best foods, wines and chefs that different regions have to offer. The first event featured, Passaporte Portugal, will take place in various formats at all Central Market locations from September 13-26, 2023.
From the Douro River Valley to the Alentejo Plains, the Azores Islands, and beyond, there’s so much Portugal to experience and explore. Events will feature Portuguese wine ambassadors, food experts, a cooking class, and Portuguese-influenced entertainers so guests can fully immerse themselves in Portuguese culture. So bring your appetite to taste a whole lot of goodies like custard-filled Pastéis de Nata, spicy Piri-Piri, a stunning seafood selection, sips of vinho, and much more!
Don’t miss a FREE Passporte Portugal Tasting Stroll and event on Saturday, Sept. 16 from 2-6 p.m. at all locations as well. This immersive culinary celebration includes recipes created by in-house chefs, imported cheeses, sweet pineapples direct from the Azores, and more.
