MovieHouse & Eatery, one of newest dine-in movie theater concepts which began in Austin five years ago, celebrated their 1 year anniversary (Sept. 22nd) of the McKinney location. Other DFW area locations include Keller and Flower Mound with plans to open more.
Fun fact: they switch out the recliners every 2 years. That’s just a snippet of ways they like to keep their valued guests happy and comfy by creating the best moviegoing experience in the industry. Preparing a scratch made menu with fresh ingredients can be challenging in this setting but their goal is to continue creating delicious meals to enhance the experience. Being in a dark theater, it’s difficult for guests to eat with their eyes like they would at a regular restaurant so the MovieHouse team strives to provide the best flavors and quality.
Dallas Food Nerd was invited with other media and influencers for an exclusive screening of Kingsman: The Golden Circle while we received a tasting of a few items on the fall menu which launches today, September 25th.

Whether you prefer a beverage to go with your meal, snack or alone there is sure to be something for you from the selection of wine, beer, cocktails, sodas, floats, ICEES. (*cough* the sodas and ICEES are bottomless folks)
Food
Bottomless popcorn bowl, fried lollipops, loaded tator tots, steak salad, chicken tacos, Southwest bowl are just a sampling of the delicious food options you’ll find on the menu. They even have a kids menu for 12 & under.

Sweets
If you enjoy a sweet ending to your meal or just a treat on its own you must try the cookie trio or brownie. Both desserts are served warm and you can even order a pint of ice cold milk for the perfect pairing.
