Located in the Village on the Parkway shopping center is the popular Yard House restaurant and bar. Yard House opened last fall in Addison and has just one location in all of North Texas. With many options to choose from at Village on the Parkway, Yard House is unique in a beer obsessed way (and we like it!). The restaurant offers an extensive beer menu with more than 130 beers from tap. From seasonal beers to local craft options, patrons have plenty of beer to choose from, including its famous yard beers.

A few of us from Dallas Food Nerd recently stopped by Yard House for post-work grub and brews. The restaurant provides a casual atmosphere with deals on food and drinks. If the weather is nice, you can sit on the spacious patio. It fits nearly 100 people! The space Inside the restaurant is also really large and modern with really comfortable, oversized booths. You can catch your favorite games on the multiple flat-screen TVs near the bar which are visible from every seat in the house.

Happy hour at Yard House takes place Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. They also host Late Night Happy Hour from Sunday through Thursday, 9:30 p.m. to close.

If you’re not a beer drinker, there are plenty of speciality cocktails on the menu. Domestic pints and well drinks are $1 off the regular price, and get $2 off speciality drinks, domestic half yards, wine, goblets, mules and more. See the full pricing list here.

You’ll find typical bar foods on the happy hour and regular menus but with a twist, like the tall tower of onion rings and the Hawaiian Poke Stack (crispy ahi tuna tacos). Both equally delicious.

Additional Happy Hour food we sampled included the generous cheese pizza, Vampire taco, shrimp ceviche, sweet potato fries with maple bacon dipping sauce and the lobster/crab dip with artichokes. No matter what you’re wanting to eat, you’re always going to find a delicious option since the menu is very extensive. Vegetarian and gluten menu items are also available for guests.
