Y’all staying cool out there? We took our food adventures indoors this month to beat the heat and came across some yummy spots. Take a look!

China Blue

We were crazy a-bao dumplings at China Blue Dumplings & Baos! The restaurant is a relatively new addition to Plano’s already bustling Chinese food scene and features TWO PAGES of dumpling and bao options!

Sangria y Cerveza Opens in Plano

Tapas and ice-cold drinks were calling our names at the newly opened Sangria y Cerveza in Plano. Change up your typical margarita for a Guava and Paloma flavor and thank us later.

Breakfast at Bellagreen in Plano

BellaGreen is now open for breakfast at their Plano location (only, for now). We absolutely loved the challah French toast (with a hint of cinnamon), plus the giant pancakes and breakfast sampler plate. Who said breakfast isn’t a great meal?? (Have them go to BellaGreen.)

State and Allen is an Uptown Favorite

This trendy and casual Uptown Dallas restaurant is known for its fun patio vibes and tasty bites. From mothered Beef Tips (pictured here) to a life changing Banana and Bourbon Bread Pudding, you’ll leave satisfied!

Sunday Surf & Turf at Fleming’s Steakhouse

We savored our Sunday night at Flemings Steakhouse with their new Surf & Turf 3-course meal, now offered every Sunday. This packed meal comes with a Filet Mignon, paired with a North Atlantic Lobster Tail OR Alaskan Golden King Crab Legs. Includes salad and dessert! The meal costs $75 per person and is worth every penny.

New Ownership at The Dive in Denton County

The Dive in Corinth/Denton is now under new ownership and serves a fantastic Texas-comfort style menu, plus features live music, comedians and a monthly local artisan market. Check out The Dive’s new weekend brunch menu, and the Monte Cristo is the tastiest we’ve had in Denton County!

The Porch is Back!

Save the date for Tuesdays because it just got a whole lot more fun. To celebrate the reopening of The Porch in Dallas, sip on $2 Dirty Gin Martinis or $2 Dirty Martinis with a Twist — all day, every Tuesday. While you’re there, grab a Giant Pretzel Pass for $20 — good for one Giant Pretzel for 30 straight days!

Wild Salsa Opens in Fairview

Wild Salsa is now open in Fairview, so the far North Dallas folks can enjoy the tasty Mexico-City style food, too! Over 100 tequilas are found on the drinks menu, so a few tacos and a margarita sounds like the perfect spot for us!

Howard Wang’s Newest Location

Family-owned Howard Wang restaurants are known for its fine dining meals, and they surely don’t disappoint! With a few locations across Dallas, this North Dallas spot opened earlier this year and focuses more on food from the Hunan and Sichuan provinces of China.

Breakfast at Bajarita’s in Downtown Lewisville

Start out your weekend mornings at Bajarita’s in Lewisville. Breakfast tacos, a piled high waffle & egg meal and a margarita flight are some of the drool-worthy items to order.

Empanadas in Flower Mound

Never have we ever… tasted a variety of savory and sweet empanadas! Del Campo in Flower Mound’s Lakeside neighborhood (you know, the one where Post Malone once bought his mom a condo), offers a large variety of empanadas that are the perfect snack! Would you choose a sweet one or salty??
