Crazy for lobster! 🦞🦞🦞 We hit up @shellshack_texas to try out their new Lobster Craze menu!

Now through April 2, all Shell Shack locations are offering a special menu featuring our favorite shellfish! Try one of these amazing lobster specialty items OR add a lobster tail to any Shell Shack meal:

🦞 Lobster Roll: chilled lobster salad is stuffed into a toasted Brioche bun and served with fries
🦞 Chilled Lobster Claws: one pound of wild-caught North Atlantic jumbo claws, served with lemons, cocktail sauce and spicy mustard aioli
🦞 Lobster Grilled Cheese: three ounces of lobster meat is served on Texas toast with two slices of American cheese and a side of fries. / $16.99

We tried the lobster grilled cheese, which was stuffed to the gills with chunks of lobster meat with tasty ooey gooey cheese, & added a tail to our seafood boil. What an absolute treat!

If you love lobster, don’t forget to hit up your closest Shell Shack before April 2!

Ask a member or a local concierge for the phone number to get in, then “sneak” in and grab yourself some “prescriptions” from the knowledgeable bartenders.

While you’re taking it all in, order some handmade Neopolitan pizza to go with the libations, and step into the humidor for a well curated selection of cigars.

PS Oomi is now offering $2 delivery with a $15 spend (before delivery & tip), up to 5 miles from the kitchen! You can’t beat that.

For our visit, we got to watch the making of some delicious drunken noodles from @hotlipsgrub , one of their most popular items!

Moulin Rouge! The Musical is the winner of 10 Tony Awards, including Best Musical & is based on the iconic 2001 Baz Luhrmann film starring Nicole Kidman & Ewan McGregor.

The musical is a dazzling display of cabaret, choreography & some of the most impressive set design you’ll see on a Broadway stage. Like the movie, the music is a mix of original songs (including “Come What May” from the movie) & clever arrangements of pop songs, including the Christina Aguilera/Pink/Maya/Lil Kim version of “Lady Marmalade” made famous from the movie’s soundtrack. But our favorite number was the extended Laga Gaga “Bad Romance” number that opened the second act.

After the show, we stopped by one of our favs @wearefuelcity, the perfect place to go for a reliable late night taco stop. #IYKYK

Hot pot time! 🔥 We warmed up at @seapotplano, which is in soft opening as the first Texas location of the California-based all-you-can-eat conveyer belt hot pot concept.

Everyone gets their own personal hot pot in this dining experience! First you pick a soup base of your choice, like miso or kimchi. Then you can order meat for the table & pick whatever seafood, vegetables, meatballs & noodles you want from the conveyer belt by your table. You can order more meat whenever you clear a plate & you have 90 minutes to eat all you can!

This was such a fun dining experience for getting together with friends! The conveyer belt concept is a great way to let you try so many items. Pro-tip: get there early! They’re only in soft opening & are already packed, despite a huge dining room!

PS Seapot will also soon have Korean BBQ in addition to hot pot & yes, you can do them at the same time! 🤯

Sunday morning bakery stop 🥐😍

We braved the brunch crowd at one of our favs @sanmartinusa & it was so worth it. Did you know this Guatemalan bakery has over 60 locations in Guatemala & El Salvador? This is its only US location & we are so lucky to have it!

San Martin serves an interesting mix of Latin & European cuisines, from classic Central American breakfasts to more familiar dishes like Migas & Chilaquiles.

They also have gourmet coffees & an extensive pizza & pasta menu for later in the day. But the real star of the show is their bakery, which features both their famous Guatemalan bread & European style pastries. We love the gorgeous chocolate croissants & chocolate-dipped palmiers!

PS - They are packed on weekends & do not take reservations, so get there early! 👀

The LTO brew is an Imperial English Brown Ale brewed with dark roasted coffee beans from Fort Worth Coffee Emporium and English toffee.

It’s available through March on tap at Lakewood Brewery and at Ye Olde Bull & Bush on Montgomery Street in Fort Worth.
