Cooked fresh to-order and all done by hand, The Annette (Peoples Choice) wings were FIRE and the fish, plus shrimp & chips, are also great choices. Just look at the seasoning on them, you can almost taste the flavor through your screen! The Musical is the winner of 10 Tony Awards, including Best Musical & is based on the iconic 2001 Baz Luhrmann film starring Nicole Kidman & Ewan McGregor. The musical is a dazzling display of cabaret, choreography & some of the most impressive set design you’ll see on a Broadway stage. Like the movie, the music is a mix of original songs (including “Come What May” from the movie) & clever arrangements of pop songs, including the Christina Aguilera/Pink/Maya/Lil Kim version of “Lady Marmalade” made famous from the movie’s soundtrack. But our favorite number was the extended Laga Gaga “Bad Romance” number that opened the second act. Hot pot time! 🔥 We warmed up at @seapotplano, w Hot pot time! 🔥 We warmed up at @seapotplano, which is in soft opening as the first Texas location of the California-based all-you-can-eat conveyer belt hot pot concept. Everyone gets their own personal hot pot in this dining experience! First you pick a soup base of your choice, like miso or kimchi. Then you can order meat for the table & pick whatever seafood, vegetables, meatballs & noodles you want from the conveyer belt by your table. You can order more meat whenever you clear a plate & you have 90 minutes to eat all you can! This was such a fun dining experience for getting together with friends! The conveyer belt concept is a great way to let you try so many items. Pro-tip: get there early! They’re only in soft opening & are already packed, despite a huge dining room! Did you know this Guatemalan bakery has over 60 locations in Guatemala & El Salvador? This is its only US location & we are so lucky to have it! San Martin serves an interesting mix of Latin & European cuisines, from classic Central American breakfasts to more familiar dishes like Migas & Chilaquiles. They also have gourmet coffees & an extensive pizza & pasta menu for later in the day. But the real star of the show is their bakery, which features both their famous Guatemalan bread & European style pastries. We love the gorgeous chocolate croissants & chocolate-dipped palmiers!
