Ida Claire is already a popular brunch spot, but they recently added a new weekly breakfast menu as well. They offer everything from light and healthy eats like Acai bowls to hearty items like their Ida’s breakfast!

Ida Claire’s tagline is South of Ordinary and it’s easy to see why.  Their spiced banana muffin resembles the normal banana bread we’re used to… if your normal banana bread is packed with strong flavors of cinnamon spices and is topped with sorghum butter!

One of our favorite light dishes was the Acai bowl filled with yogurt, fresh fruit, and granola. Packed with flavor, this dish is the perfect portion for leaving refreshed (and not feeling guilty about ordering two spiced muffins!).

Another favorite was the Sausage Biscuit Sliders and Super Seed Granola. Ida Claire’s puts a special twist on their sausage biscuits. This one was filled with unique spices and flavor.

The super seed granola was another dish filled with quite a bit of cinnamon, not that we were complaining! I appreciate that they don’t skimp out on the fruit. You won’t find cantaloupe in this dish. The blueberries, pomegranates, and mangoes were all fresh.

Don’t forget to add a cup of french pressed coffee! It’s good for 2-3 cups, so make sure to share- if you want to.

I asked the manager about vegan eats as well. The great thing about Ida Claire is that everything is made from scratch in house. It’s reassuring to know that whatever you order is 100% fresh. And while they don’t have any specifically vegan items, they are accommodating and are able to create vegan friendly dishes.

I have to say my favorite spot is their old school air-stream located on the patio. It was a little chilly when we went, but this might have to be my spot next time!
