Officially kicking off North Texas Beer Week, Untapped Festival Dallas will take place at Fair Park on November 7. With over 100 breweries taking part, attendees will have the chance to try over 400 beers during the festival.
Untapped Dallas 2015 reflects the festival’s growth into Texas’ flagship beer festival featuring more beers and a bigger music line-up featuring The Flaming Lips, Dr. Dog, Cloud Nothings, Elle King, The Pharcyde, The Mowgli’s and more.
Now in its fourth year, Untapped Festival is produced by CrowdSource and was founded in Dallas in 2012 by Corey Pond, Matthew Haber, and Spune Productions. Untapped 2015 takes place in five Texas cities with the addition of Austin and Fort Worth this past spring and San Antonio this fall. The goal of Untapped is to bring thoughtfully paired music to seasoned beer drinkers and to introduce new and exciting craft beers to discerning music fans.
The festival will also feature “Woodyâ€, the giant traveling keg from Deschutes Brewery out of Oregon.
