Union Bear Brewing, the new independent brewpub with a chef-driven cuisine, will celebrate its official grand opening this week on Tuesday, March 27. Located at The Boardwalk in Granite Park (5880 State Highway 121), patrons are invited to stop by throughout the day for food and drink specials, giveaways and to see a live remote show by The Ticket Sports Radio.
Doors open at 11 a.m. for lunch with the first 100 guests receiving Union Bear Brewing coozie, t-shirt, pint glass, bottle opener and gift cards. All guests enjoy $12 Lunch Special – lunch flatbread served with a salad for $12 until 3 p.m.
During Happy Hour (3- 6 p.m.), enjoy $3 Union Bear Brews, $2 off signature cocktails, $5 wells, $4 house wines, and signature snacks crafted by Chef Sean Sanders, including Chicken Lollipops, Honey Pig Flatbreads, Chicharron, Beef Jerky and more ($3-$7) in addition to the a-la-carte menu. A portion of the proceeds from Union Bear brews will benefit Plano Children’s Hospital and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
The Ticket Sports Radio’s The Hardline featuring Mike Rhyner and Corby Davidson airs live from 3-7 p.m. at the brewery. Diners can sign up to win a Union Bear Brewing dinner for eight and prizes will be awarded for making putts on the Union Bear putting green.
Now about the drinks…
We love this brewery because the beers are brewed RIGHT HERE. Purchase a growler and get refills for cheap! The brewery has four beers on rotation, including the blonde (below), an IPA, an amber and an oatmeal stout. The beers were smooth, tasty and worth the refills! Enjoy a handful of guest taps from local and regional breweries. Beer lovers are in no shortage of options at Union Bear Brewery!
The staff-curated spirits and cocktails are not to miss, too. From margaritas to stiff Old Fashionends, sip on creative twists on your favorite cocktails.

You won’t find any greasy bar food here! Guests will enjoy a chef-driven menu with the freshest ingredients and seasonal items. We were impressed with the menu selections, especially learning about the approachable yet elevated items. Take a look at our meal below!
