Maggiano’s Little Italy at NorthPark Center is well known for their well-prepared selection of Italian food. One thing that is not well-known about the restaurant, is that they have a scratch kitchen. What this means for diners is if they have the ingredients to make it, the chef is happy to whip up a custom dish. This makes it a great choice for anyone with a gluten-free, vegetarian, or even vegan diet. In fact, all of their homemade sauces are gluten free.

Because they have the wonderful feature of a scratch kitchen, the chefs are able to curate a seasonal menu for the restaurant. The menu for this Fall is nothing short of amazing.

Roasted Pear Gorgonzola Bruschetta

This heavenly bruschetta has a creamy gorgonzola base, topped with imported prosciutto, arugula, and a honey balsamic glaze.

Smoked Nueske Bacon Carbonara

This fancy take on a classic dish includes fresh Chitarra pasta, peas, garlic cream sauce, and is topped with a poached egg! Don’t let the egg sway you. It adds a creamy, flavorful touch to the dish.
