Disclaimer: I was provided dinner for purposes of this review.

I don’t care who you are, there are days that only meatloaf or spaghetti and meatballs can solve.

Unfortunately, grandma can’t Fedex hers, you don’t have the Weight Watchers points, and the frozen version is so full of sodium if you eat it, you’ll wake up looking like Violet Beauregarde tomorrow.

Thankfully for you, Miranda’s Kitchen has the cure for what ails you. Offering healthier, homemade recipes, this personal cuisine dining/delivery company gives you options for when you don’t want to cook, but want to eat like you did.

After losing more than 200 pounds, Chef Loryann didn’t understand why eating healthy had to mean it didn’t taste good. So she developed recipes for her favorite meals without all the preservatives by using her own herbs and even grinding her own meat. Then she shared them with those of us looking for the same things, but just don’t have the time to spare to cook up a delicious meal.

Considering my family of four is never home except for dinner, she was able to whip up a whole meal complete with single-serve meatloaf cups, mashed potatoes and veggies, delivered to me at work warm and ready for me to dish out on to the dinner table when I got home – without missing a beat.

I may have even pretended I made it myself, but the aroma of meatloaf in the car when I picked up the kids ratted me out.

Since the service is highly customizable for servings from 1-10, the website suggests Enchiladas, Asian Noodles, Buffalo Chicken Pasta, Spaghetti, Stuffed Peppers and even Breakfast Muffins as favorite requests.  However, customers can always put in their own orders, especially for her Italian, Polish and Middle Eastern cuisine.

Free delivery is available in several North Dallas communities including Allen, Plano and McKinney although other areas are available with a small fee.
