Addison Announces New Food Event
Mark your calendars now….Addison introduces an-all new culinary event, Fork & Cork, May 16 and 17, 2014 at Addison Circle Park. Designed for the epicurious, this intimate, two-day event will bring together celebrated chefs, craft breweries, wineries and spirit makers.
Fork & Cork attendees can get their hands dirty with interactive cooking classes, dive into delicious bites from some of the best restaurants in the DFW area, and imbibe in divine cocktails, craft beers and wines. Fork & Cork evolved out of the success of Taste Addison and will replace it as the city’s annual signature food event—and take Addison back to its culinary roots.
Blind Butcher Opens Feb. 6
Blind Butcher – located in the eclectic Lower Greenville Avenue neighborhood of East Dallas – will open for full dining and bar service on Thursday, February 6th.
Champps Americana Hosts Grand Reopening

Chino Chinatown Opens for Lunch and Brunch Service
Chino Chinatown, the newest restaurant concept to hit Trinity Groves, is now open for brunch and lunch.
Del Taco brings back crispy shrimp items for limited time
Beginning Feb. 6 Del Taco will offer its crispy shrimp in either a taco or burrito for a limited time. Both Del Taco’s Crispy Shrimp Taco and Burrito feature crispy golden shrimp, fresh cabbage, freshly chopped pico de gallo salsa and Del Taco’s secret sauce. The burrito adds lime rice and the tacos are served with a fresh lime wedge. For a limited time, guests can purchase two Crispy Shrimp Tacos for $4 and two guest-favorite Beer Battered Fish Tacos for $3.50.
Domino’s offers $7.99 medium two-topping pizzas
Domino’s is offering medium, two-topping Handmade Pan Pizzas for $7.99 each now through March 16. Domino’s Handmade Pan Pizza is made from fresh, never-frozen dough and features a golden, crispy crust with toppings to the edge and two layers of cheese in every bite. La Perla d’Italia opens in North Dallas
Newly-opened La Perla d’Italia offers authentic Italian cuisine from Maurizio Primo, a veteran restaurateur and native of Naples, Italy. In addition, La Perla employs a world-famous Italian cheesemaker, Antonio Pugliesi, who makes fresh cheeses daily. The restaurant is located at 5301 Alpha Road, Suite 66 in Village on the Green, the North Dallas mixed-use lifestyle shopping center adjacent to Galleria Dallas.
McAlister’s Deli Opens in Irving
The newest location of McAlister’s Deli in Texas will open on Friday, February 14th off I-635 and Beltline. To celebrate, McAlister’s Deli will make a 10 precent donation of all sales from the grand opening day to Irving-based Mothers Against Drunk Driving. The new McAlister’s Deli will be located at 3501 Regent Blvd Irving, TX 75063.
Nestlé® Toll House® Café by Chip Opens in Collin Creek Mall
Nestlé® Toll House® Café by Chip opened its first location in Plano earlier this month. They’ll serve up its famous chocolate chip cookies, premium Milano coffee and a wide array of delectable treats. A special grand opening celebration has been scheduled at the café for Saturday, February 15th. Collin Creek Mall is located at 811 N. Central Expressway in the Dallas suburb of Plano, TX.
