Many of you may be familiar with Bar Louie in North Texas. The lively restaurant and bar, which is headquartered in Addison, opened its newest location in Irving this past September. The restaurant, which its full name is the Bar Louie Music Factory, is located in the growing entertainment development, the Toyota Music Factory.

And with that said, the bar is a great fit for this center. They offer great drink specials every day, affordable food deals, late night scratch kitchen service (once you’re drunk hungry after a concert at the Toyota Music Factory!), a large patio and live music and/or DJs every Friday night.

Here are some more reasons on why you should visit the Bar Louie Music Factory!

Cocktails

The bar offers a broad selection of wines, 20 beers on tap, including lots of local brews, and 32 craft cocktails. If you’re a regular at Bar Louie, you know they’re famous for their martinis. The bar puts a twist on the average cocktail. The Honey Peach Martini and the Louie’s Sangria are common favorites by patrons.

Strawberry Lemonade, Havana Classic Mojito

Here’s the Ultimate Bloody Mary with a small meal on a stick (consider it an appetizer!)

Grub

I love how Bar Louie keeps their scratch kitchen open late ‘til 2 a.m. every day because sometimes you just need that burger or slice of pizza really bad and really late. The menu overall is a mix of flatbreads, burgers, salads, sandwiches, signature entrees and desserts. So it’s your typical American food but with an elevated twist, as you’ll see in the pictures below.

Whet your appetite with  few shareable starters before heading onto the main course. The Hummus Trio is a light option that comes with veggies and small pieces of Pita bread. The Spinach Dip is a bit heavier due to its creamy texture and the cheese, but nonetheless, delicious.

I also HAD to order the Tempura Shrimp, a personal favorite seafood snack. These small bites are perfect for sharing, and the appetizer comes with three sauces ranging from mild and spicy.

Also found on the appetizers menu, which you can easily order as an entree, is the Beef Brisket Sliders. (Other slide options come with blackened salmon and one with bacon and peppers). Three sliders come with slices of beef brisket and is topped with peach bourbon barbecue sauce, pickles and grilled pear slaw, with fries on the side and on top of the sliders.

Choose from seven burgers on the menu, but one of the bold decisions I suggest you make is ordering the Spiked Bulleit® Bourbon Burger. It’s covered in housemade Bulleit® Bourbon and topped with cheddar and cream cheese, applewood smoked bacon and crispy onion strings. (Must be 21 or older to have this burger!!)

Additional meal options:

Four flatbreads make up this category on the menu, and you likely won’t see these flavors anywhere else (Thai Chicken, Verde Chicken, Buffalo Chicken and Roasted Vegetable). For another entree option, build your own street tacos.

Weekly Specials

Bar Louie Music Factory will feature several ‘Weekly Rituals’ that are a bang for your buck. On most Mondays through Fridays happy hour will run from 4-7 p.m. with half-off select appetizers and all flatbreads. On the nights when there are concerts at The Pavilion, the Weekly Rituals will run from 4-6 p.m.

Happy hour drink specials include: $3.50 draft beers (14 oz.), $4.50 wines by the glass and $5.50 signature martinis.

Another really good to try is the restaurant’s ‘Five-Dollar Burger Night,’ (with tots or fries) every Tuesday from 5 p.m. to close (2 a.m.).

Enjoy late night beats by a local band or DJ every Friday beginning at 10 p.m.

Drink for a cause

Bar Louie and The Breast Cancer Charities of America (BCCA) announced a special breast cancer patient support fundraiser with promotions featuring Chloe Wines taking place now through Nov. 1. As part of its fundraiser, Bar Louie is offering a special ‘Pom Pink Sangria’ drink with Absolute Lime, St-Germain, pomegranate and Chloe Chardonnay—an exceptionally well-balanced wine with sophisticated intensity, creamy mid-palate and long finish. Funds raised during the promotion (up to $40,000) will allow BCCA to directly help breast cancer patients by providing resources and support such as emergency financial assistance, beauty baskets, educational materials, workbooks, tools and guides.

Parking and address

The new restaurant is located at 360 W. Las Colinas Blvd., Suite 100, Irving, TX, 75039. A handful of parking spaces are available in front of the restaurant, but more space is located in the parking garage right behind Bar Louie. They’ll validate your parking for up to two hours, and payment is required for the rest of the duration.
