The first annual Taste of Keller, presented by Bud Light and 95.9 The Ranch, offers a tasty weekend blend of food, music, art and TONS of family hometown fun.  This two-day festival, April 18 & 19, 2014 at Keller Town Hall, features restaurants serving generous samplings of their menus at reduced prices along with a side of hit entertainment and a huge serving of fun all weekend for everyone including the T.O.K Tasting Tent, 10,000 Egg Drop, Battle of the Builder, Miss Taste of Keller Pageant, sanctioned BBQ competition, Motorcycle Poker Run, 1K Fun Run, Food Eating Contest, arts and crafts and much, much more. It’s the greatest County Fair with all the “Keller Flair” at the Taste of Keller 2014.

Taste of Keller Features:

T.O.K Friday Night Tasting Tent:
An event of epic-eating proportions, enjoy the Bud Light Taste of Tent with more than 25 eateries serving generous portions of their favorite dishes.  Watch as six local bartenders, battle it out in the shot showdown and attendees will enjoy 1oz tasting to earn the community choice award.  Tent is open from 6-8 p.m.  Tickets $10, benefiting the Greater Keller Women’s Club Foundation.

Music at the Bud Light Stage:
Enjoy sounds from Robynn Shayne, Jason Ashley, The Nate Kipp Band, Derek Anthony and our “Battle of the Bands” performers all weekend long.  Three stages will run all day Saturday will your favorite local Texas Country and artist that are on the rise.

10,000 Egg Drop:
What a way to celebrate Easter weekend with 10,000 eggs dropped on the Taste of Keller festival grounds via Epic helicopters and filmed on Saturday at 4 p.m.

1st off “Battle of the Builder”:
Businesses battle it out to build custom dog houses for auction. Benefiting the Keller Human Society.

Miss Taste of Keller Pageant:
From tot to teen, we’re crowning six lovely local ladies based on personality, poise and attire. Benefitting the Keller ISD Education Foundation.

Community-wide team BBQ competition:
Taste of Keller may be new, but we aren’t new to BBQ! This Texas Gulf BBQ Association competition hits it hard with four-meat categories and three jackpot opportunities for judging!

Food Eating Contest:
How many pies, hot dogs or hot wing can you take down? We’d love to see you try it at this Food Eating Contest!  Benefiting the North Texas Food Bank.

Motorcycle Poker Run:
On Saturday from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm bikers will ride to play the best hand. Benefiting the Keller Rotary Club Foundation.

Keller 1K Fun Run or Run & Explore!
Start of the day right to run the 1K or let the kids under 12 get creative for a unique “Kellercatching” or geocatching experience while they explore Keller. Benefitting the Casey’s Kids, a Keller organization purchasing necessities for KISD students in need.

Chef Demonstrations and Food Sampling:
Restaurants featured include – Baja Grill, Brownson Rock, Elote Mexican Kitchen, FnG Eats, Keller Tavern, Lupe’s Tex-Mex Grill, Oliva Italian Eatery, Pickles BBQ & Icehouse, Devivo Bros. Eatery, Hook & Ladder Pizza, Shannon Brewing Co. and Bone Daddy’s
